How to Survive the First Few Months With Multiples

Sometimes it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come.  The days of reeking of spit-up, going through formula by the can, preemie weight checks, and zombie days of existence seem like distant memories.

Motherhood alone offers its share of challenges, joys, and freak-out moments. However, when motherhood throws a curve ball of multiples, “normal” gets thrown out the window. I understand the overwhelming excitement and overload that goes with parenting multiples and recently partnered with Pampers and BlogHer to offer a Crib Sheet on surviving the first few months with multiples.

It’s a “cheat sheet” of registry advice, getting through the NICU rollercoaster, sleep and feeding schedules, dealing with the spotlight, giving individual attention, and some bits of advice along the way. It’s easily printable {Because what new mom has time to search through multiple sources and screens to find answers to immediate questions?} and meant to be shared with other moms expecting or parenting multiples.

Here’s a screen shot of the first of the two pages.  If you click on it, it will take you to the pdf, where you can print it or share it with a friend!

Gotta say, writing this took me back a little. And as much as I wish I could hold those tiny bodies again, I’m so thankful to be on this side of parenting multiples! Thanks to so many of you who have walked this journey with us!
