All Aboard! Next Stop: Pediatrician’s Office
Choo! Choo! Here they are (front to back) Clark, Henry, Brooks, and Isaac sporting their Colts‘ Blue for Blue Friday. Hopefully our Colts can “chug” on to another victory on Sunday to make us a perfect “7” (7-0).
This is our new Choo-Choo Wagon. Do you like it? It was highly recommended from other higher order multiple families. We bought it for the boys for Christmas, but decided this was an occasion to try it out. It worked great since there’s 4 of them and only 2 of us, and as you can imagine undressing, weighing/measuring, holding for the examination, getting shots, etc. takes a lot of effort! They were able to sit safely in their own car while they waited their turn. The only down side is, I think the wagon draws even more attention as our boys got their pictures taken 4 times in the doctor’s office! They are so stinkin’ cute in it, though, I have to admit! I can’t blame them.
We have nothing but good news to report from our check-up. You can refer to our 7 month weight post to see their progress. Here’s the latest weights:
Henry – 18 lbs. even
Brooks – 17 lbs. 11 oz.
Clark – 19 lbs even
Isaac – 21 lbs 9 oz!!!! (20 lbs is the 1 year goal)
Unbelievable! They are all on the charts for weight and are right on track or better for developmental milestones, especially for preemies! Our doctor was encouraged and amazed. We love that!
Jen,
The boys look absolutely adorable in their choo-choo wagon…do you not just love it?!? It is the best and we use ours ALL the time! I have to agree with you that it does bring on a lot of additional attention but usually positive comments only which I never mind;) I am so happy to hear such wonderful news following the “Blue Crew’s” check ups! Their weights are truly amazing…I have to admit I’m slightly jelous…my daughter is 17 months old and at the last doctor’s visit she weighed in at 19# 7 oz with clothes and shoes on so WAY TO GO!!! They certainly look perfectly healthy and are very handsome little guys:)
They get cuter every time I see new pics!!!
STINKIN’ CUTE is putting it mildly! I want quads now just so I can get a choo-choo like this to show them off in. Do you think that my 5 kids, ranging from ages 14 down to 10mo., would be willing to get in one for me?
I am curious, though, what does the front look like? Does the first ‘car’ have a handle like a wagon would?
I hvae to say I am quite amazed at the size of your quads. I have a 20 month old, full term, singleton who just now has broken the 20 pound mark. You are so lucky that they are dong so well and are so healthy.
Is it easier to get in the car than the quad stroller?? They are too darling for words.
Aww, guys, they look so cute! Congratulations on healthy weights, growth, and developement!
Brittany
They are so cute and what great stats!
Goodness gracious … adorable! And, wow, you’re one of my heroes!
I LOOOOOOOOVE the wagon! SO cute!!
Let me at ’em, I’ll kiss all their cheeks!!!!
Love, Gret
DUH…guess I should have clicked on the ‘choo-choo wagon’ link and I would have gotten my answer. Thanks, Brad!
God bless your healthy little cherubs!
Veronica
