30 Days of Giving
Are you ready to be inspired?
Are you ready to be challenged?
Are you ready to be creative?
Are you ready to give of yourself more?
Alyssa, from Keeping The Kingdom First, is creating a 30 Day Challenge that starts TODAY. I know what’s on the tip of your tongue. “Times are tight. We just don’t have the extra cash to give right now.” Dually noted! (We’re currently unemployed, remember?) However, you just might be missing something amazing if you pass this up. Besides, there’s sooooo much more we can give that doesn’t come in the form of a credit card or dollar bill.
Time. Encouragement. Talent. Heart. Conversation. Service.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galations 6:9
What a great way to commence the Thanksgiving season this November and to prepare our hearts for the upcoming holidays! Giving has a way of showing us how blessed we truly are! There’s going to be plenty of ideas and avenues that you can jump on board with during The 30 Day Giving Challenge. Grab a journal and let’s get GIVING! RSVP at Keeping The Kingdom First if you are joining us and to get more details in this awesome effort!
Blessings to All!
Posted at 12:01 AM! ha ha! where's your sleep Murray parents?? 30 day challenge sounds like a cool idea
What a great idea! I have been trying to encourage our readers to find ways to give regularly. Each week, I post Thankful Thursday to share a new way to give on a budget or highlight a favorite organization.
I'm going to set aside some time today to look this over in more detail and add it to Inexpensively.
Considering your current situation, you're coming at the 30-Day Giving Challenge from a bit of a different angle than some of the other bloggers I've read. I'm excited to see what God can do through your giving!!
That is a wonderful attitude. My husband was our sole source of income and unemployed 8 month to the day! GOD worked miracles during that time to provide for our family of 5. One way we gave back was my husband volunteered at our church for a remodel with the childrens pastor for 8 weeks. He was thier 12 hour days six days a week. Never in our lives have we recieved such Godly council and encouragement. We attend a church of around 12000 so getting to know staff was a blessing. The week they finished the project, my husband was hired in a long shot job and we made friends for life! God always has a plan. Enjoy the time together!
