The Ultimate Summer Sandwich Party

kraft2

What a fun night!  Brad and I hosted an “Ultimate Summer Sandwich Party” with some families from church that we’ve wanted to get to know better.

(Tangent #1: Do you ever find yourself hurrying into church, picking up your kids after the sermon, and then scurrying to feed your family lunch?  Us too!  Just a season of life, I’m sure! However, we are hoping remedy this hustle and bustle by inviting more people into our home, now that life has “settled down”. *Insert Laughter*)

kraft6

We plugged in the Panini makers and loaded up the toppings to make our own creations.  So. Much. Fun!

  146. Devin says:

Funny…I was going to leave a comment even before I saw you were having a giveaway!

I just discovered this method of sandwich making last week–I was making grilled cheeses with provolone, ham, turkey and salami for dinner, and I didn’t feel like standing over my griddle cooking 6 sandwiches. The bright idea hit me–I should use my George Forman grill! I did, and it was wonderfully quick and even wonderfully easier!! The grill (which, I am sure, works similarly to a panini maker) cooked the sandwiches on both sides in about 3 minutes, and smushed them just enough to get into little mouths. Definitely a method I will be using again in the future, so this would be a great one to win 🙂

    Thanks for the giveaway Jen!
