Closed Captions: ON

So I understand that some of you want some captions to explain all the pictures posted last week, so let me break them down for you. We had lots of Kodak moments during the 11 hour shoot! Can you believe it? 11 hours for a 30 second television commercial and 1 minute radio commercial. So what you see in the commercial is completely unscripted. We were wiped at the end of the day and thankful for the Swope family who rescued us so we could get a bite to eat at Boulder Creek (YUM!) and unwind. Shooting a commercial is definately a team sport. There were about 40 people at our house during the day. Here’s some captions to help explain our day in more detail…..

Flowers were used to spruce things up a bit (Sorry, Paul, I’ve already killed the asters.)

This is the camera van and Paul the designer/decorator. He’s a riot!

This is the crew after our “pre-production” meeting to go over the plan

This one of a billion shots that didn’t make the cut. They were trying to show “life with quads” without showing the babies, to lead people to the website to find out more.

The cameras pointing at us. Ahhh the pressure!

The hangout in the garage (We don’t usually leave our leather couch n there!) The guy looking at the camera is Ben, our interviewer/writer.

One of many messes made during the day due to rearraging things for shots.

The wardrobe choices. They went through our closet and picked out things that would look best on camera with our furniture! It’s not everyday that you have a stranger rummaging through your closet.

Here’s a few more that didn’t make our “cut” for the little contest…..

Filming the “quadruplet pantry” filled with formula and baby food.

The “sun” is always shining when your filming.

That was our exciting day. A great memory for a great cause. I’m so thankful that by God’s grace our babies are a Tiny Success! We are hoping through this opportunity it will open more doors to share our story and to give God the glory for what he has done and continues to do in all 6 of our lives!

PS We will get back to our regular posting soon and WOW do I have things to tell you! These little “stars” have been show-offs lately! We go to the doc tomorrow for their check-up, so I’ll fill you in with their new weights too!

WAH! I missed the whole contest! SO FUN to see the commercials, though! I always knew you’d be a star, Jen. . . just don’t forget your humble beginnings with the rest of us in the youth group starring in off-Broadway hits such as “Let’s Go to the Rock” and “Who Me?”
