Celebrating Completion…..
Today we celebrate the day we all became a family. One year ago today Clark joined us at home after a 40 day NICU stay and we were reunited under one roof. The days of trading off turns to stay with the boys at home and visit Clark in the NICU seem like a distant memory and being home together with our 4 healthy boys has been a year of many blessings, joy, and laughter.
If you’d like to look back with us on one year ago, these posts we’ll take you there:
Thank you for sharing in this journey of adventures with us!
All 4 boys home in less than 6 weeks and none of them with problems – that’s amazing – what a good God we serve!

What a marvelous tribute to a loving God who held you all tightly in the palm of His hand.
May I take the liberty of adding how I named one of my children? (I’m a little late adding this)
Almost 43 years ago, I had a lovely baby boy laid in my arms to keep and to raise as my very own. I was the sixth single person in Oregon to be allowed to adopt. Single adoption was only allowed in two states at that time and was virtually unheard of. Because it was such a miracle for me, after years of praying to be a Mom, not knowing how that prayer would ever be answered, I called him Jonathan, which means “a special gift from God” which he was and has always been. Today he is a father, a great husband, a beloved pastor, an outstanding violinist, and he is still the “apple of my eye”. More children followed, but they were already named.
Congrats! I’m going to post on my blog tonight about my kids’ names…
AHHHHH!! Those pictures made my heart melt! I LOVE your beautiful and happy family.
XOXO

Happy Anniversary!! Oh they were so tiny then, it is so hard to believe how much they’ve grown. What precious memories, even for me!

OH! Weren’t they so teeny tiny? Wow! They have just come so far and gotten so big! AMAZING God!
What a wonderful way to pay tribute to Him and all He did for your family through this year.:)
It is hard NOT to tear up reading and seeing all you six have been through. But they are happy tears.
WARNING TO COMMENTERS:
Folks, just a warning to watch out for. I have now deleted 2 “spam” comments from our blog. I wanted to warn you because both of these comments had links attached to them that led you to pages with spyware, malware, and viruses on them.
Watch for comments that are very short. The one I deleted just now had a link that said “warning, click here”. That was the entire comment. If you click there, you most likely will end up with a virus.
Be careful where you click in the comments, if it doesn’t look quite right or makes you suspicious, don’t try it!
You can be confident in the links actually on the blog, those will always be safe because they are written by Jen or I.
Happy blogging!
Brad
i’m such a sucker for your babies. so cute.
oh, and i had the creepy comment problem, too. you need to change your settings so that we have to type that annoying code in when we comment. it works.
Thanks for the “heads up” about the unwanted comments! I have just had two and opened the spyware one and realized it wasn’t good. I couldn’t shut out of it and finally had to force quit the program. I’m hoping no damage came from it. I have a Mac and often we are left out of the virus business.
…so hopefully.
Thanks again.
I remember the blog about Clark coming home (I was pregnant at the time) so I’ve been lurking for a long time! I remember you posted that this blog is like your photo album and I just found this awesome sight that will turn a blog into a photobook (not $$) and just thought I’d share since you take such great pictures and do such a great blog (honestly, it’s the reason I started a blog for my son!)
Check out this site (I don’t work for them or anything)
