Another Set of Multiples?

Thomas the Twin Engine has joined our house of multiples.

Stranger: "Do twins run in your family?"

Me: "Indeed they do!  They run on batteries!"

A fellow blog reader (and neighbor), Kim saw our that our Thomas I was being threatened by fierce competition, and brought over Thomas II, that her son had outgrown.  We hardly ever have 4 of anything, but 2 is a perfect compromise.  Enough to learn to share, but enough to keep the house happy.

Speaking of happy, doesn’t Thomas look like a jolly train?

  10. Thomas does look like a jolly train, but if you ask Fox, he’ll tell you that Thomas is a cheeky little train…it kills me how much he picks up just from watching the DVD’s at Granny’s house!

  11. Welcome to the world of Thomas the Train. Even tho I am 76, I have a Thomas table in my garage completely set up with tracks, engines, and all of the stuff that goes with it. I leave it up for visiting children, since my grandson has out grown it. Thomas has provided hours and hours of fun at our house! I know he will at your, also!

I’m sure having 2 is a relief! I have 2 girls (5 and 2 1/2) and we frequently get 2 of the same Beanie Baby, doll, etc. to avoid the fighs. I can’t imagine what it would be like with 4!

    Your boys are precious!

  15. How nice of your neighbor…I’m so glad you have 2 now! 🙂

  16. That’s great!! What a special treat!

Jen, do you mind letting me know who it was again that did your blog design for you? I wanted to try and get mine done, too.

    Thanks,

Way to go friendly neighbor Kim! I was wondering how long 1 thomas would be able to hold up to those boys!! Two will stand a better chance. 🙂

Great job getting the 2nd one, I know it was a gift, but if not, you needed to go out and pay $30 for the 2nd one. My twins have 1, and many many evenings I have thought they need two. Now they are into everything so there is plenty of things (outside-wise) that they don’t fight over Thomas. I must add, org. there is a back black push thing for it — it does not work.
