4 Little Turkeys…

They’re Turkeys Alright…

I found these onesies at Carter’s right after Halloween already clearanced to $2. TWO BUCKS! We’re trying to get every penny’s worth out of them, and since our washing machine is working overtime (see previous post), the more times they’ve been able to wear them before Turkey Day! Here’s a better look at it:

They say "Thankful for Mommy". Melt, Melt goes my heart! Now that right there was well worth the $2! They are growing out of the Carter’s onesies. 24 Months is the end of an era. Such a shame. My little "poults" are turning into "Toms". =)

Oh and check out a little video I just shot outside our front door.

Yes indeed, those are actual snowflakes, ladies and gents. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Thanksgiving!!!! 9 Days 1 Hour and 2 Minutes until we do our turkey jig!

Gobble, Gobble!

BRRRRRRRR! Just watching that video gave me goosebumps!

I also loved your “poults to toms” line. Very clever, indeed!

I think I’ll lay down and have an all-out tantrum and crying fit when our four-some outgrow the Carter’s 24 month clothes (hopefully we have a good 6-12 months before that happens). It truly will be the end of an era.

    Love ya!

Those are last year’s onesies, that is why they were clearanced.

Don’t you love Indiana weather? Next week it will be 70 degrees!

Love the cute onesies. Did you know The Children’s Place carries onesides up to a 3T, maybe even a 4T? Onesies are so much better in the winter than a regular ole t-shirt.

  9. Shelly says:

Wow, snow. How jealous am I, I love the snow.

  10. JAMIE'S CREW says:

The boys look so grown up!!! Definitely little boys, and NOT babies anymore.

Congrats on the steal of $2 for the onesies. Who cares if they are last years as your anonymous poster pointed out.

    A bargain is a bargain!

  19. What a great deal!! Isn’t it awesome what all we can be thankful for this Thanksgiving?

My two were coloring at the kitchen table when they noticed the snow outside this weekend. Sarah asked “It rainin?” and we told her “snow.” “Rain?” she asked again then said “snow”, like “Ok…I got it.” Yet today, when the ground was covered, she was very hesitant to walk on it and wanted to be carried out to the van. haha! But then quickly said “Snowman??” Silly girl!

Too cute!!! I love the saying on the shirts, Id probably buy them for 10 bucks each, just so stinking cute!!!
Now that its holidays, I had to wonder if you live close to the boys grandparents. You know Jen, I love your blog and your family, and have wondered for some time how close you were with them. I cant judge but have to wonder just because I dont see them in pictures with the quads or you mentioning them much. Maybe you are trying to protect their privacy? Did I mention before how curious I get at times… and then I just go blurting out the questions!:)
I think you guys are so awesome!!! Hoping you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
Oh, just one more question… are you going through another ‘lockdown’ with the boys to protect them from RSV?
Alrighty, Jen…..Ill hush and letcha go!:)

  21. Heidi,

    I can answer this one:

We could not have survived the past few years of life without our parents and siblings. Our parents have served us regularly by both helping us take care of the boys, and watching the boys while we go out for dates and such.

God has blessed us with an amazing family on both sides who have been very supportive.

And no, we will not technically be on lockdown this winter, but we will do everything we can do to limit their exposure since four sick toddlers make life VERY difficult! 🙂

Seriously, I felt the same way about the Carter’s Sleep N Plays. My kids were really tiny, so by the time they were in the 24 month size, they were potty trained and we didn’t wear snap shirts. It was the 9 month sleep n plays that got me every kid!

  23. Stacey says:

Oh how cute they are! The boys and the onsies. I sure wish we had a Carters way down here in Evansville.

  24. I melt whenever I see their smiles! Glad you have some snowflakes to play in. We have sunshine and puddles.
