Energy Zappers…

In my inbox today was a terrific quote from my dear friend, Suz. I began laughing hysterically. 

"The emotional and physical energy needed to supervise an energy-packed tot can take down the most physically fit mom. If your toddler happens to be a boy, add 50% more energy…" —On Becoming Toddlerwise

So mathematically in our situation add 200% more energy??? So that’s why I’m beat at the end of the day!!!!

  2. I saw Suz’s comment on Facebook today and laughed, too! I can only imagine what some days can be like! My two can be enough, and only one of them is a boy 🙂 Wonder what #3 will be…we’ll find out in a few days when he/she arrives!

    I can only imagine!! I do childcare and have two 1-year-old boys in addition to my own 1-year-old girl. They DO zap energy. Also, I’m reading the same book right now. Love it!

  12. I remember when my three boys were born you sent me a note that said, “Boys are the best!” I already tell people I’m on the triplet fitness plan — lots of weight lifting and constant movement and no time to eat. And ours aren’t even mobile yet! 🙂
