Pour Little Sugar on It Baby

DSC_1160c

The boys got their first cookie decorating experience on Valentine’s Day.  I anticipated them scarfing  the cookie before we had a chance to put the sprinkles on the table.  Instead, they decorated their cookies patiently and disaster free.  Another perk to add to my Things That  Make Two Terrific List!  It was 100% enjoyable for all 6 of us! It may not seem like a major accomplishment, but with multiples it is monumental!

I’ve been looking forward to sharing these pictures with you.  Too bad I can’t share a cookie with you through the computer screen….actually, they’re all gone. Oops!

It will be so sad to out grow the table, I didn’t realize it was getting close! I guess you wouldn’t want their feet dragging. It’s such an efficient way to keep them corralled (sp?) for feeding! What happens next for multiples??

And also, they are cute as ever decorating their cookies!!! Darling valentines!!

  3. My favorite line is, “Oooh, that sounded crispy.”

That’s exactly what I was thinking!

  4. ADORABLE! Sweet 2s are awesome!!!

That is so adorable. Isn't it great when they develop the focus & concentration to do things like this? Just out of curiosity, do you always put each quad in the same seat on the feeding table, or do they sometimes switch seats?

  9. So grown up Jen!! Look at those boys! They sure aren’t babies anymore. Snif snif!!

    I love every picture!

  10. Great pictures, Jen! I’ve been away from your site for awhile, as I just got back from a 10 week missions trip to India with my two year old twins! I agree that there are a lot of fantastic things about the two-year old stage, especially with multiples. Yep, it’s really challenging, but with your amazing attitude even the hard stuff isn’t so bad! Just wait for the day that you see them lay hands on each other and pray for them to feel better without any prompting from parents!(my favorite moment of our trip!)

Your boys did a wonderful job of decorating their cookies…great small motor skills! Amazing that they waited for your permission before eating their finished products. I wish I had their willpower!

  18. These are precious pictures. Since I have all girls, I can say that I think you have the cutest, most little-manly-looking boys out there! They are going to leave a lot of little melted puddles of hearts in their wake.

  19. That view is priceless.
Does Henry look most like Brad? Each time I look at your blog that is what I think.

So Sweet! I think it is amazing the patients our multiples have at two. We moved up to the table in boosters about a week or so before our 2nd birthday. I still love the underside picture of those sweet feet.

How adorable. I love the pic you took of their feet under the table. Glad the cookie decorating went good, and why don’t you find a way to email cookies?! It’d save my mom a ton on shipping!

  27. Hi! I’m new to your blog, but had to comment on that awesome table! Not to mention…your boys are adorable. 🙂 I have triplet girls and would have LOVED that table about 8 years ago. They’ll be 9 in April. Time flies when you have multiples. 🙂

I love how Henry – the oldest – is the first to try his cookie. And Isaac – the youngest – is last to try his and wants it fed to him.
