4 Little Firemen…
Over the weekend Brad’s family joined us at our church to watch the movie Fireproof. Tell me you’ve seen it…
It richly depicts that marriage IS worth fighting for! One of my favorite quotes from the movie is, "Fireproof doesn’t mean that a fire will never come, but that when it comes, you’ll be able to withstand it." Brad and I are committed to fighting the fires of marriage for LIFE! I hope this movie will be an encouragement to your marriage (present or future) as well.
And now for your Feature Presentation! =)
A couple of guys that go to our church are firefighters, so the boys were able to get an up close, hands on encounter with a fire truck. The boys LOVE LOVE LOVE emergency vehicles, so this was a BIG deal for them! I’m so glad my MIL had her camera on her to capture these memories!
Left to Right: Brad’s Mom, BIL Ryan, Brad’s Sis (Holding Clark), Brad (Holding Brooks), Brad’s Dad (Holding Henry who’s showing us his best side), and Moi (Holding Isaac)
Isaac cried when the fire truck had to leave. (Once again, hand in mouth working on those molars!)
Brooks was being a little cheese most of the night.
Henry just kept shouting "Fire truck!" "Fire truck!" As if it were too good to be true.
Clark can’t get enough of Gramma’s lovin’
Our firefighter friend, David, said we could stop by the firehouse anytime, so I’m sure we’ll be checking it out soon!
SO COOL…Henry, Issac, Brooks, and Clark look like little gentlemen…eek! Can’t believe they are growing SO fast!

That is too cool! I’m sure the boys were very excited about their close encounter with the fire truck!
YES! We have seen it! LOVE it!! We actually watched it again on our recent getaway. I agree that EVERYONE should watch it! Makes you want to work through ANYTHING!The fire engine pic's are SO precious! Being able to see a fire engine up close is the best! My Brendan is just starting to gravitate towards fire trucks & all boy things! TOO cute!

Your boys are the cutest! I have not seen the movie, but I have heard great things about it from everyone who has.
What cute pictures!!
How neat that they were able to get on the firetruck!! You know they were in heaven!!
(shame on me, I havent seen the movie, but I have every intention to see it VERY soon!!)
Your boys are so adorable! Make sure you take the firemen some goodies when you go to visit. My daughter and I used to drop by our local firehouse with treats and they just loved it. They were so gracious and of course my daughter got to learn everything about the trucks!
Kathy, Gramma, looks so happy when she is with those boys. We hear an awful lot about your babies. I’m a co-worker of Kathy’s and she absolutely adores her grandbabies and is so proud of you guys!
Precious pictures and yes, i agree, the movie is wonderful. We have been married almost 28 years and it was worth every minute to watch it, now I recommend it to many of our young married couples. The boys are just precious and growing up so fast. Thanks again for sharing….your friend in East Texas, Pam.
Nope we have actually never seen it. But we dont watch a lot of tv. My husband and I are committed to our marriage not only because we love each to much but also we made a commitment in front of GOD, friends and family.
I loved that movie and the message it sent. The boys looks so cute in the fire truck!
Fun times!!! Precious Babies!
Fireproof really helped us out for sure!! Love the pics!!
I keep hearing wonderful things about Fireproof, but have yet to see it.
Such fun that the boys got to check out a firetruck! My brother and SIL are fire fighters. I hope to take our kiddos to the fire house again soon when we visit next.
I heart you all!
I gotta know, did you plan to wear red?

I LOVE Fireproof! Just make sure you watch “Fireproof in 60 Seconds”. It’s on the DVD extras or you can find it on YouTube. It’s funny, but seeing the movie makes it even funnier to watch!
Oh yeah, LOVE that movie!
Those little firemen have set my hear on fire!! They get cuter everyday!
Love girl…I blogged about you again today. Better tell Brad to watch out – I think I have an obsession 🙂

I’VE SEEN THE MOVIE AND IT WAS REALLY THOUGHT PROVOKING AND GOOD. FOR BEING MARRIED 1.5 YEARS IT WAS NICE TO SEE A MOVIE WERE PEOPLE WERE REALISTICALLY FIGHTING FOR THEIR MARRIAGE. IT IS NOT AN EASY FIGHT BUT THE REWARD IS SOMETHING GREAT.
MY HUSBAND IS A FIREFIGHTER AND YES THE PASSION FOR “THE JOB” STARTS YOUNG. IT IS SO MUCH MORE THAN A JOB; IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT A LIFESTYLE.
I have so wanted to see that movie, especially with my husband being a firefighter. But we would have to be in the same place at the same time, and thats, ooooh, just about never these days!!
Anyway, love the shots of the kids around the rigs. We take my son to the firehouse just about weekly, since we are both in and out of there constantly. He’s a lucky guy, and his friends LOVE to come visit us, because we’ll bring them too! 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day!!
