Duck Tales
Newest Adventure for the Crew: Feeding Ducks!
I don’t have video from this little outing, but I plan on taking you up on your fabulous suggestions this summer. Y’all are soooo creative and resourceful! I think we’re in for some awesome family memories!
I was a little worried about the large body of water + 4 active boys, but we watched them like hawks, and they heeded our warnings. I don’t think I would have tried this alone. =)
We lured the ducks with leftover Veggie Straws. Apparently ducks’ palettes prefer bread over veggies, but it got their attention, nonetheless. The boys enjoyed their up close encounter with the "duck-ducks". It was quite the "quack up"!
"Birds of a feather flock together"…and thank you for flocking to 4tunate so faithfully. If you follow me on Twitter, you might have caught the race to a million hits the other night. We have been so blessed by your encouragement and presence in our lives. Thanks a million! And thanks to Kristen for capturing a screen shot of one million and and one hits as a little memento!
Looks like you all had one duck of a time 🙂 Glad this experiance was a keeper!

Gorgeous pics, Jen! You are so gifted! Granted your subjects are pretty easy on the eyes but you captured some really neat photos! Hey – what does a duck call a Ritz? A “quacker”! We always feed our ducks “quackers” – goldfish, ritz, saltines but my little ducks always seem to eat most of them. What a fun day! Hope you have a wonderful weekend – heard there’s some fun stuff planned!!
Feeding the ducks is so on my list of things to do with the twins this summer. I told my mom last month that I have so many wonderful memories of a spot on MSU’s campus, feeding the ducks on summer afternoons with my mom and grandma. I know my two will love it also! Hopefully Adam will even enjoy an experience with ducks!
I had some goofy fun the other night during the “race to one million”, and managed to get 999,999. The whole screen shot thing was lost on me, so I took a pic of it with my trusty old camera. Thanks for letting us read about your lovely family.

The pictures really “quacked” me up! Sorry, it had to be said. But seriously, great pictures! My daughters love feeding the ducks too. I don’t worry so much about them falling in the water, I worry about the ducks biting them. They can be evil! 🙂
You are one DARING momma! I would be SO afraid that our kids would chase after them. LOL! They seem to be infatuated by ALL animals these days! LOVE the pic's too! Your kids are SO photogenic!
