1/118 Chance
I just wanted to remind you folks that you’ve got just a few more days to enter the Snapfish $50 gift card giveaway over at www.makesquadshappy.blogspot.com! Just leave me a comment over there telling me about your favorite photographed memory of your father. Right now, you have a 1/118 chance of winning, which is a pretty good shot!
However, the "odds" are not currently in our favor at the Murray Casa. 2/4 boys are sick with a nasty tummy bug. I’ll spare you the details, but let’s just say the Easter buckets are NEVER going to be used for collecting Easter eggs again! Would you join us in praying that this illness would be short and that the other 2 and their parents would be spared from this one? We have an EXCITING end of the week planned (that I can’t wait to share), and we’d LOVE to be healthy enough to take it all in! It sounds like a selfish prayer to pray, but I’ve been learning a lot about prayer and praying for one another. I used to feel guilty to ask for prayer for myself, but it is a great way we can love one another. God longs to communicate with us, and know our hearts desires. So I’m not going to be ashamed to ask you to pray for us, as you so faithfully have through our journey!
Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Hebrews 4:16 "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
PS I would consider it a privilege to pray for you as well, so leave a comment below if there’s a request you would like to share or email me at (quatro_mama at yahoo dot com).

Sarah – Not sure if you'll check back here for an answer, but it's Segoe Print. =) Glad you like it and thanks for the comment!
I will be praying for your boys and for everyone's health!
Our current prayer request is our new blessing, I am almost 11 weeks pregnant with our third child! I have 2 boys who are only 11 months apart – almost 1 and almost 2. Reading your blog gives me hope, especially if this is another boy! 🙂
Jen you are so awsome! I wish I could put my heart into words like you do. I will say a prayer that you get to do your end of the week fun…I know you need it. My imediate prayers would have to be to give me the patients to get these three littles potty trained as gracefuly as possible. Thanks for always being so up lifting.
Will be praying for you! That bug isn't a fun one!
Would love to ask you to pray for us. My husband has been out of work since Oct 1 and I've finally hit the wall on this one. He had a 3rd interview with a company and thinks it went well…we'll know next week.
Jen, I hope that the 2 boys who are sick are feeling better and the 2 who aren't & you and Brad don't get it.
I'll certainly be praying for you all… multiple colds I can handle, but multiple stomach bugs often make me cry!!
The prayer request I have is for a friend whose baby girl (age 2) is battling lukemia. She had a successful bone marrow transplant from her big sis (age 4) earlier this year, but the cancer is already back in 40% of her blood. There isn't a lot the doctors can do now because she is still recovering from the transplant. Please pray for sweet Abby, her mom Holly and the rest of their family!
Praying 4 u and those sweet boys!
I am hoping the bug is swift….figuratively, not…literally! multiples bugs are rotten….but with lots of children, everything is multiple when it comes to bugs….
handwashing, handwashing, handwashing!! good luck
Susan :):)
I have been following along with your blog since before the boys were born- thanks for letting us come along on the journey!
I often feel the same embarassment about asking people to pray for me, but since you asked 🙂 I go in today for a pregnancy test to see if round #2 of IUI was successful. Would you mind praying for a positive result and that if it is negative, that I will be able to find peace and recognize this as God's will? Thank you so kmuch!
I hope the illness passes quickly and does not affect anyone else in your family.
I'm not really all that good at this, but if you would keep my family in your thoughts and prayers it would be appreciated. My husband is away on business for most of this summer and I am 22 weeks pregnant with our first child, a little boy we have named Matthew. My family has a history of premature delivery and I hope every day that he will stay cozy where he is until October, and be healthy.
Thanks again.
Hoping for a speedy recovery and that boys 3 and 4 don't catch it as well! We had it over here a few months ago (2 out of 3) and we are glad it's over!
Praying for health and no more illness in your family. It is so encouraging to read your blog and to hear of your love for your family. I have been reading for quite a while now, over a year since when I was on bedrest with my second child, and reading it was a bright spot in my day. Praying for fast recuperation for the first two and that they are the ONLY TWO!!!
My prayer request is for my Sammy, he will be 3 in july, and has been getting IVIG (basically donated antibodies from people who donate blood) for almost two years, we are trying to take him off to see if his immune system will start working. Anyways please pray for
1) he doesn't get sick and his
immune system works
OR
2) if he does get sick, that we
are able to restart the
IVIG without any hospital
stays
THANKS SO MUCH!!!
Praying for your boys. My prayer request would be for my little grandson. He was born June 1 with a mass in his nose. He was transferred to the NICU in a hospital in Toledo, OH. On June 9 he had exploratory brain surgery that took 5 hours. Now we are praying for his recovery. At this point he is very swollen and they are keeping him sedated. Very hard for his Mommy to see. The Drs. assure us that there should be no side effects. Thank you for praying.
I am delighted that I found your blog! The boys are beautiful–what a blessing.
