The Wheels on the (Fill in the Blank) Go Round and Round

Sing Along with Me:

"The Wheels on the Bike, Shopping Cart, Dump Truck, Bike, Cozy Coupe, and Lawn Mower Go Round and Round, Round and Round, Round and Round. The Wheels on the Bike, Shopping Cart, Dump Truck, Bike, Cozy Coup, and Lawn Mover Go Round and Round. All Through the Town."

Makes a long song even LONGER, huh?

The boys are so entertained by things with wheels, and if they can ride or push them…even better!

Boys will be boys!  You sure don’t have to teach them to love boy things.  They naturally gravitate to construction equipment, emergency vehicles, anything that moves and makes noise!

These pictures were shared by our friend, Kara, who’s hung out with us several Fridays of her summer.  The boys adore her and she’s wonderful help!  Today when we dropped her off they said, "Wuv ewe Kaywa!" Translation: "Love you, Kara!" The feeling is mutual!

PS If you’re following me on Twitter, you probably know already that our little sticker chart is going surprisingly well.  We were 4/4 this morning – the best case scenario in over a week!  Here’s hoping our winning streak continues!

Oh my goodness!! My son is obsessed with Wheels too!!!! When anyone leaves our house, he has to sit in the grass and watch the wheels go bye bye. When my parents leave, my dad will go forward and backward about 5 times and he just loves it. It's defintely an obsession!!!!! Too cute!!!! I love all the pictures!

  3. I agree…boys do just gravitate to vehicles! Having a boy and girl and raising them pretty equally, it still amazes me the differences between them. When we are in the car, Jacob (honestly!) points out every Big Truck! Motorcycle! Bus! Tractor! Ambulance! Trash Truck! Airplane! Mail Truck! Bicycle! etc….on the road. Every. Single. One! Meanwhile, Sarah could care less. On occasion, something will pique her interest and she'll look up to see what her brother was talking about…but she's usually a day late and a dollar short and always ends with "But I don't SEE it!" haha!

I never realized how different boys and girls were until I had Landon! 🙂
