November Letter
My Sweet Boys,
How can I express the love that fills my heart for you as you quickly approach age 3? These past few weeks have been some of my favorite. They have been weeks filled with watching you explore, pretend, play with each other like never before, and hold these wonderful conversations that get lengthier every day.
Although I would not have picked for your daddy to lose his job, I must admit that the panic has been replaced with a deep fondness of this precious time we have together. And even as I pray daily for a new job and opportunity to present itself, I dread him telling you goodbye that first morning back to work. You are your daddy’s boys through and through, and I love him all the more for the father he is to you boys. It’s been a joy to watch him grow to know you even better through these last few weeks and watch you giggle multiple times a day as he tickles, chases, and tackles each of you.
You boys are so incredibly blessed in so many ways. You are easy to love. And I’m thanking God for your miracle lives yet again today.
~Your Mama
Very sweet!!
That is a sweet letter and your boys – both big and small – sound like such blessings! I pray that Brad finds work soon, but I understand how nice it is to have him home.
Aw Jen! I love the letters you write to your crew.
The Lord does work in mysterious ways and this is one of them. You will always treasure these times, enjoy every minute and I pray Brad will be blessed with a job in the near future. Thank you for sharing, you have a beautiful family! Your friend in East Texas, Pam.
So sweet. I can only imagine how much they love having both of you there right now!!
Praying for him to find a job soon though!!
SO sweet….LOVE the letter and the picture! Your boys are PRETTY darn lucky to have YOU TWO as parents, you're pretty easy to love yourselves. 😉 Isn't this such a fun age? I am taking SO much joy in Mylo lately.
Beautiful picture. Beautiful letter.
So sweet. And I know what you mean about having your husband home w/the kids. I didn't want my husband to be laid off either, but it was so nice having the time together…we homeschool our kids, so they got to spend a lot of time with him. We all missed him when he went back to work! :0)
Jen – both the photo and your words are beautiful! I am amazed at the joy you can find even when times are uncertain. Wishing you both time as a family and many memories along with promising job prospects for Brad.
