Keeping Your Cool…
No, I’m not talking about staying calm and collected, although I could have used a blog post or two on that tonight during bedtime…
I’m talking about keeping your cool in this crazy heat that’s been hitting most of us. Week after week seems to look like this week’s forecast:
The pool works just swimmingly for keeping us cool.
And last week these easy frozen fruit cups did the trick.
How have YOU been keeping your cool this summer?
I would love to see those temperatures around my house for a week or so! It has been 100-107 for the past three weeks here in Oklahoma and Texas. My sister and I eat a lot of ice cream and popsicles.
It’s been over 100 here for sixteen days in a row now. We spend the morning in the sprinkler, and the afternoon in the pool!
Sadly, we have kept our cool by living in the grey, rainy, gloomy Pacific Northwest. Today’s paper had an article about the fact that this has been the coldest, dampest, foggiest summer on record, with an average of 9 hours of grey gloom every day since July 10. Some of us would give our right arm to enjoy warmer weather–we’re tired of wearing fleece in the summer!! 🙂
Ah, yes that recipe is AMAZING!!!
Loved seeing those little swimmers. Hey Jen, good job in playing piano while filming such great pictures. Love, MOM
I would happily take that forecast. I realize that your humidity is probably through the roof but here in sunny, hot Arizona it’s a lie that we have a dry heat. Supposed to be 115 or so the rest of the week with a chance of T-storms.
