Hiding The Word In Their Little Hearts
…They are only three years old, but they are already perfectly capable of hiding Scripture in their hearts. It’s been so convicting in my own life, as I hear these words repeated and explain how they apply to their young lives.
“A soft answer turns away wrath” has convicted me multiple times to respond with grace and calmness, rather than raising my voice in anger. “Do everything without grumbling or complaining” is a verse that I can apply daily, if not hourly. Isn’t it humbling how God pierces our own hearts when we’re attempting to impress our own children?
