So what are your favorite summer books for kids?
Jennifer, would you believe I have a copy of Harry By the Sea that my mother ordered for me from Weekly Reader Children’s Book Club when I was in 2nd grade? That would have been 1970!! I can just imagine Harry thinking that the hot dog man is shouting “Harry! Harry! Harry!” when he was really shouting “Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!” 🙂
Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane–and for the great kids’ book recommendations! I’m pinning this to my “Parenting” board!
