A Few of My Friday Favorites…
- We can’t get enough of Shauna Niequist’s Blueberry Crisp found in her beautiful recipe memoir that I devoured. We’ve made it with blueberries, peaches, and mixed berries. Turns out perfect every single time. Can’t wait to try it with some apples from the orchard. ANNNNND it’s healthy. {But you won’t notice because it’s so tasty.}
- This Seeds Family Worship CD has been on repeat in our minivan, and it’s soooo soooo good. It’s teaching us all Scripture in a beautiful fun way.
- I tried making Grilled Cheese in the Oven yesterday. How’s come no one told me it was this easy? And easy to make for a crowd (my family)!
- My boys haven’t learned to tie their shoes yet. I love you, Velcro. Thank you for making my life so much easier, but it’s time to move on… I found this awesome video for a new easier way to teach kids to tie their shoes, and I’m all over this starting this weekend.
- A friend at Bible study introduced my boys to these Lego Bible movies by ShatterPoint Entertainment. Instant Love.
- Oh and I’m currently diving into Follow Me by David Platt. It’s been so good. Honestly, the forward by Francis Chan was worth the $11, and that was only the beginning.
Sooooo what are YOUR favorite things lately? I’m always looking for good tips on your favorite recipes, good tunes, books, movies, etc! SHARE AWAY!
I’m definitely going to have to check out the Lego movies! That is Jack’s current obsession. I’ve discovered a new kind of peanut butter by Peanut Butter & Co. called “White Chocolate Wonderful.” It’s white chocolate mixed in with the pb….and it’s to die for!
I’m looking for good Christian car music so I’ll be checking that seed of praise out.
