Do You Think That When We Get to Heaven We’ll Sing Like Celine Dion?

This was the topic of conversation last night between my sister-in-law and I, in the -2 degree night air, exiting the concert. Seriously, her voice was perfection.  Her performance was spectacular.

So before you start thinking, how does a mom to quadruplets afford pricey concert tickets, let me explain that they were FREE tickets given by our neighbor (talk about good neighbors), which were FREE to him, that he couldn’t use. It gets better.  After wedging our way through the crowded security, we made it to the ticket scanning line, and our tickets wouldn’t scan.  We swam against stream to get to the box office to figure out the problem. Turns out that due to Celine’s massive stage and lighting set up, our seats had become obstructed, and thus we were reassigned seats from nose bleed rafters to "Club Level". Niiiiiice!!!

I didn’t take many pictures, because I didn’t want to miss anything.  This her 2nd encore singing "My Heart Will Go On".

I did feel a bit "middle-aged" among the crowd, and I did spot a lady taking a pick comb to her 80’s perm, but nevertheless, it was spectacular. Regardless of your music taste, if you get an opportunity to see her live, you will not be disappointed in her absolute pure talent and the first class show.

Must admit to gettin’ a little misty during this song…

Don’t  worry this isn’t turning into some sort of Fanilowish blog.  I’ll be back with the boys tomorrow. Until then, FESS UP!  What’s YOUR favorite Celine song that you like to belt out to with the vacuum cleaner?  =)

  12. We actually had a Celine Dion song for our first dance at our wedding. “These are the Special Times.” Its actually on her Christmas CD so I love pulling it out this time of year and hearing it – ESPECIALLY when its just moments of hubby and I – like last night, up late wrapping presents.

So glad you got to go to the concert – what a fantastic gift from your neighbor!
