Buddyin’ Up
First off, thanks to my best buddy, Brad for his love letter post to me. Babes, you can take over the blog ANYTIME! (It was yours to begin with, afterall!) I know you all must wonder if he’s "for real", but he truly is genuine. He treats and loves me in a way that is truly honoring. Sometimes I honestly wonder "why me?"…I am blessed beyond measure!
The last few weeks we’ve been able to experience our boys really becoming buddies. I’m hoping this is the start of a beautiful friendship for life! As their mama, it brings me such joy to watch them entertaining and loving one another. Sure there are countless incidents of fighting, intense squeals, begs for attention, stealing toys (you get the picture), but to witness the positive side of all this "togetherness" has been more than precious.
(Pictures used in this post were not "posed", but instead captured as the events transpired)
Here’s a few recent buddyin’ examples:
-
Back Rubs When a Brother is Crying
-
Spontaneous Kisses
-
Sharing a Toy with a "Here y’go" (This is MAJOR!)
-
Playing at the Table with their Farm Animals
-
Pulling each other down the Slide
-
Singing
-
Reading Books Together
Who can resist 4 brothers showin’ some brotherly love? Philadelphia, you aint got nothin’ on the Murray Boys!
That is just so wonderful. Seriously. There is nothing better in parenthood than seeing your children love each other!!
I guess they learned that from their parents and how much love the two of you show love for eachother. You have a beautiful family.
This comment is in honor of the fact that yesterday…I finished reading your entire blog. I somehow came across it and while scanning the first page or two, I saw that you had been to Lynn’s Paradise Cafe, and wondered if you guys lived in Louisville like me. That got me reading and I couldn’t “put it down”. It was fun to follow your story up until now, I’ll definitely be checking back often 🙂
Super cute!! Kids learn from their parents so congrats to you and Brad for being great examples!
Sweet baby boys! I can’t wait for that. Mine are biting and hitting right now…I don’t know what to do!
Love yall,
Jac

Is that not the best? I love those moments! My two always give kisses to each other at bedtime. On the funny side, the other day, my son was not enjoying dinner and throwing quite a fit. His sister, looked right at him, pretty much rolled her eyes and said “Oh brother!” ha!!
Your boys are so precious! It’s so wonderful to watch our children growing up and growing closer together. Your family is very blessed. (And I just love the shots of the boys sitting together in the boxes and baskets. Reminds me of my own kiddos. 🙂 Too cute!)
Love those sweet moments! They are some of the best parts of parenting. Isn’t being a mom the best!!!

What sweethearts and memories they are creating. I can not believe they are actually getting along and sharing toys. What sweet and precious and handsome boys! Jen and Brad-you are doing an awesome job!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Aww, they are all so sweet.
There’s nothing sweeter than that brotherly bond!
Such handsome boys!
So sweet, I love the bit about rubbing each other’s back when they are crying! Best wishes to you all
I think one of my favorites has to be the giggling they spark in one another which then leads to the other giggling… Sooo cute and precious.
love the pics!
Jen – You are always so humorous – love the Philadelphia comment! Your boys are precious and why wouldn't they be with the sweet daddy and mamma they have to look up too!?! Lots of love to your six pack in Indie! Love, Mari & The Goerlich Gang
These are just BEAUTIFUL moments captured!
It's it so heartwarming to capture the love between siblings so vividly???
My twins have only just recently started to do the same things you wrote about (ironically, only when we added 2 more littles ones to the brood did they realize their bond)
I just LOVE seeing these moments! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
Made me warm & fuzzy.
I love it! There is nothing sweeter than children loving on each other! It melts my heart every time they hug, kiss, or comfort one another! What a precious age our kids are in!
