Emotions through the Viewfinder: Brooks

My sweet talented friend, Megan, was over giving me a hand the other day and brought her camera along to snap the boys "in action".  Megan has an amazing gift for shooting in "true form".  Here’s a little sample of Brooks’ emotions that she captured during a small window of time.

Two year olds have quite the range of emotions!

Don’t worry, you’ll get to see shots of Henry, Clark, and Isaac too.  Just wanted to show you one at a time, to let their individual personalities shine, as these photos showcase so well.

Check out Megan’s blog for more of her honest to goodness wonderful photography, including her recent work with Extreme Home Makeover.  She’s a gem!

They’re great!!! I love 2-year-old emotions. This week mine has been either blissfully happy or unbelievably grumpy – no middle ground.

I think Brooks is a perfect mix of you and Brad 🙂

  2. I love the one of him in the toybox… so adorable.

  3. I love the last one of him, with the big smile! She got some great shots…I can’t wait to see the other boys’ photos, too!

  5. Jen and Brad,

Awesome photos of the boys! Just quickly reviewing your blog this morning after seeing the wonderful comment posted on ours by Brad. Thank you!

I’m sure there will be days when our boys test my patience, but seeing your most recent photos, as well as those of the 2-year old birthday party, make me even more excited to see and experience their growth.

Oh, I love your boys’ names, and was happy to see that we have some in common. Your naming rules are perfect! We subscribe to almost all of them. I laughed while reading the story about how much time it took you to come up with the names. Very similar situation in our house. Only took about 30 minutes!

Thanks again for reaching out to us. Looking forward to getting to know you and the boys better as time progresses.
