Easter ______ (Fill in the Blank)

Easter Clothes. Easter Breakfast. Easter Service.

Easter Travels. Easter Mexican Lunch. Easter Family Time.
Easter Bubbles. Easter Treats. Easter Egg Dying.

(All while potty training, I might add.)

Making progress every day… (but I’m too “drained” to write about it right now).

Plus I need to conserve any energy I have left to cheer for my Butler Bulldogs in the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! =) Unbelievable. My alma mater of 4,000 students is playing for a national title! (Insert Heart Thumping Loudly) Regardless of the outcome, it’s been an unbelievably exciting season. Go Dawgs!

For those of you who check this blog for the purpose of pictures, here’s a few from our Easter festivities!

A special “Virtual Hug” to a special blog reader friend, Carrie, for making these adorable tie shirts.  Thank you for being such a blessing! =)

Lovin' the hand down the pants shot…
Good luck with the potty training. I thought 2 at a time was tough!

  2. J says:

Great pics – too funny with the hand down the pants. I remember the fun of potty training my trio. That's where I was glad I had a girl because she was so much easier than any of my 4 boys.
Good thing about training multiples – peer pressure can be a positive thing.

  4. Candace says:

Love those shirts! Does she sell them? Next year try dying the eggs with a whisk, but the egg inside the whisk then hold the handle to place them in the dye. Just saw it on another blog!

    Go Butler!

  5. Ah, yes … hands in the pants!! LOVE those shirts. And super cute boys in them too:)

  6. Marianne says:

At Easter Mass, the priest said, "Go Dawgs! Although I'm not sure they need it. They are playing the Devil(s) after all!" Haha. Too funny. I hope he's right!

And the boys' shirts are darling!

  7. oy they are cute. I'm so rooting for the bulldogs tonight. Let's do it….

  8. lol! I almost spit my water out when I saw your lil guy with his hands down his pants! Priceless!!! That will surely need to be saved for a future girlfriend. ha!!

Looks like you had a great Easter. And the little guy with his hands in his pants is "priceless". We had a Dog Easter Egg hunt. Pictures will be posted this week from that adventure. Also, them Butler Bulldogs gave them a run for their money. I thought they were going to pull it out. I was on pins and needles and I am not even a really big basketball fan. Have a great day! 11. Jen, your little guys look very sweet in the tie shirts. Looks like the size is perfect, and I'm glad you liked them well enough to let the boys wear them! (I always say my items are made with more love than skill…) Gretchen said she saw you on Easter Sunday; what a happy coincidence. One of the comments asked if I sell the tie shirts, and the answer is yes. My email address is
ckiser@chem-castltd.com for anyone that may have questions.
    Take care.

I have been following your blog through a friends blog (Goerlich's) and do love the pictures. It was through your blog that I was able to tell alot of Texans where Butler was!!!! I sounded pretty smart. I was hoping Butler would win but they had a heck of a season.

  16. Gail says:

Your DAWGS put up quite a fight! I really, really wanted them to win. Great game!

I read in a family fun magazine that she gives her kids a whisk to help them dye the easter eggs. I tryed this but it was a little hard to get out but just a suggestion.

Easter Mexican Lunch, friend!! It was super good to see you all! I knew your voice as soon as I heard "GRETCHEN BENZING" coming out of that van. . . well, either you or your brother. 🙂 HAHA!

Can I just say that every time I visit Calvary and I look up in the choir and see your mama singing in the alto section, I TRAVEL THROUGH TIME. . . pretty sure I learned to sing alto from her (and you . . . and Mandy Edgington). Your mother is TIMELESS! Love that lady.

Sorry about your team. Josh and I were rooting for the Bulldogs, too. Wait, I'm pretty sure 90% of America was!

  19. I'm raising my kids in the home I grew up in too.
