A Four Year Old Knockout

Uncle Ryan let the boys borrow the Wii while I’ve been on recovery, which has provided some great entertainment for not only our boys, but also for our helpers. =)

It amazes me how quickly four year olds can pick up on the games and how intensely competitive they’ve become… They are convinced when playing boxing if they scream “STAY DOWN!!!!!” after they knock down the opponent, that they won’t get back up. It’s hilarious.

Our helpers, the Cunningham’s, videoed Henry on Friday, and I think I pulled a few stitches from laughing so hysterically.

See for yourself:

Speaking of being knocked down, I’ve been making some great improvements this week and will update you more soon!

Do you have a Nintendo Wii? What’s your favorite game? What do your kids like the best?

PS Can’t show that sweet Panasonic set up without thanking them again for allowing us to be a Panasonic Test Drive Family. It’s great to be Living in HD!

We recently were given a reconditioned WII from our four children. It really came in handy a couple of weeks ago while I was keeping 3 of my grandsons. We were having a heatwave and going outside of even a few minutes was brutal so we allowed a few hours a day of WII. The boys really like the LEGO games and one of the Dance games.

My husband has to play several games of tennis every day and he really plays it, you would like he was playing a real game the way he gets into it.

I like the bowling game and try the Dance game just to get some excerise and get my heart rate going.

Nathan is 5 but his favorites are Lego Batman and Scooby-Doo. Both of those have characters that don’t die so he doesn’t get frustrated because his character dies off. He can play it alone or with someone else. He sometimes has trouble getting through the levels but mostly does it by himself if someone can’t play with him. Our family likes Family Game Night 1&2 bundle. Our favorite of those games is Sorry Sliders. We can only play 4 players at a time but all of us like it and we play it together frequently. There are other great games on the Family Game Night bundle. Sorry Sliders is just the easiest and our favorite.

My 3 1/2 year old twin girls love Nickelodeon Wit Fit and bowling the best.
