Hit Me With Your Best Shot
So I planned on writing on continuing our marriage and dating series today, but my computer had a different agenda that consists of locking up every time I turn it on. Lovely.
So after a morning of 8 shots, 12 pages of paper work, and 4 tear-free boys, we are calling it a day! Donuts for everyone!
Vaccinations. Donuts. I’m just full of controversy today!
The boys took the shots in stride one on each leg – I’m thinking the boy competition factor was definitely in our favor this morning. It’s compelling how brave we can be when others are watching, isn’t it?
When they got to the van to compare war scars and stories, we came up with the idea that we should have sang “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” to the nurses. Silly, Brave Dudes.
So go ahead and “fire away” with what you are most afraid of…Needles? Spiders? Heights? Flying? Strorms? The Boogie Man?
I laughed out loud when you said, “Vaccinations. Donuts. I’m just full of controversy today!” Love it. You do what’s right for you and your family! I am soooo over the “mommy/opinion wars”–life is too short, and everyone is entitled to their own choices and ideas. 🙂
I am terrified of getting my teeth knocked out. Seems so silly, but it’s true. Thus why my sport has always been running (and in the last few years, Zumba!)…no rackets/bats/balls/clubs/pucks to deal with and worry about knocking my teeth out!
I have a weird fascination/obsession with any animal that can kill you through brute force (bears, bulls, tigers) but especially sharks. I have a small portion of my personal library dedicated to the subject. 🙂
I am FREAKED out by mice. Yuck! Especially in our house, in the kitchen (yes, that has happened). ::shudders::
