Hey Jen! Thanks for the code! I just used it to get 2 of the Phil 4:8 platters (MIL and gMIL gifts for Christmas!) and I got several of the Jesus is the Gift cookie platters for the kids to give their preschool teachers as gifts. At $4.75/platter, it’s a great price! Merry Christmas!
i really like the Decorative Silver Engraved Tray. i think may just get that for my mom for Christmas. cute ideas! Thanks.
My 3 1/2 year old is asking for Fisher Price Trio Blocks. He got one set last year and this year we’re getting him the airport/helicopter set. These things are awesome and really help his creativity. Even Daddy likes them.
Oh I love that silver tray!
I am trying to remember what we got our son around that age. Here are a few that come to mind for birthday/Christmas.
– Leapster
– Knight Costume (Really any costume at all. We hit the Halloween clearance racks and he still runs around in some of them)
– Big Tonka Trucks
– Marshmallow gun
– Action figures
– Pillow Pets (Just got these for our kids and they love them!)
– Little Tikes Basketball Hoop/T-Ball set
– Thomas the Train
– Bowling set with foam balls
– Tool bench with pretend tools
– Play cash register with fake money (they’d play “grocery store”)
– Games: Hi Ho Cherry-O, Candyland, Memory, Zingo (VERY GOOD!), Boggle Jr. , Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed, Cooking Cookies, Hip-O’s Menu Match, Cranium Cariboo, Buckaroo, Ringo Flamingo, Don’t Wake Daddy & Cranium Hullabaloo (big hit!)
Cranium Hullabaloo for sure! Perfect for getting the wiggles out on those snowed in days.
Great post Jen. Some ideas for 4-5 age that E loved…
Games are wonderful for this age! absolute faves are Guess What I Am, Hullaballoo, Elefun, Zingo, Cariboo…other good ones…Twister (can make up a bunch a different games with the Twister mat), Cat in the Hat I Can do That!, Slamwich, Monopoly Jr., Yahtzee Jr. (all the Jr. games are typically building blocks for the “regular” version)
Tangoes Jr.
Marble Run
Leapster great for car rides, waiting rooms
Hot Wheels color changing cars
And if I didn’t have 4 more to play with everything, I’d send it all to you for sure! 😉 Michelle
As mom to twin 5 yo boys – Lego sets are tops on the list. We were introduced to Trio a little late, but those have also impressed me. Scrabble Jr is a great game. And easy craft kits have been a big hit ’round here lately. Tape – scotch tape, masking tape, etc – has always been a popular stocking stuffer. This year they have been studying Matchbox/Hot Wheels car sets and a toy cash register is on the list, too.
Leapsters are great. With four boys, you can just get each one a game and they can trade them around. We also LOVE the TAG systems for that age. Little animals for imaginative play are huge around here as well. (My kids are 3, 5 and 6)
